The Regions ezine is the voice of the Regional Studies Association’s community and aims to provide a comprehensive and insightful perspective on regional studies and science.
By contributing to Regions, your work would be accessible to a broader audience in a format suitable for policymakers. Regions articles are available in an open-access format, complete with direct links for easy sharing on social media.
We have included an overview of what you can expect from Regions’ editorial process below for your reference:
- Each Issue addresses a different theme and has three sections:
Regional Insights (800-1000 words)
Research Frontline (1500 – 2000 words)
Spotlight (2000 – 2500 words)
- Authors work with the section editor to develop their articles to an agreed deadline.
- The authors and editors approve the final version of the article.
- The article is published in the issue and made available to readers.
- Regions ezine does not have an impact factor, but a DOI will be assigned to the published article a maximum of 15 days after publication.
