Issue 19: Exploring Green Growth, De-Growth, and Post-Growth: Heterodox Frameworks in Regional Development

In our pursuit of understanding sustainable regional development, Issue 19 beckons authors to delve into green growth, de-growth, and post-growth. Embracing heterodox frameworks, we invite contributors to unravel the complexities of environmentally conscious regional strategies.

  • Submissions are open until August 26th.
  • The publication is slated for the first week of September 2024.

The Regions ezine is the voice of the Regional Studies Association’s community and aims to provide a comprehensive and insightful perspective on regional studies and science.

By contributing to Regions, your work would be accessible to a broader audience in a format suitable for policymakers. Regions articles are available in an open-access format, complete with direct links for easy sharing on social media.

We have included an overview of what you can expect from Regions’ editorial process below for your reference:

  1.       Each Issue addresses a different theme and has three sections:

Regional Insights (800-1000 words)

Research Frontline (1500 – 2000 words)

Spotlight (2000 – 2500 words)

  1. Authors work with the section editor to develop their articles to an agreed deadline.
  2. The authors and editors approve the final version of the article.
  3. The article is published in the issue and made available to readers.
  4. Regions ezine does not have an impact factor, but a DOI will be assigned to the published article a maximum of 15 days after publication.
